This will be the first official Spoonie Artists Meet-Up!
We will provide you with a whole host of wonderful resources and materials to experiment with and enjoy, as well as some biscuits and a brew. This is also an opportunity for you to bring your own craft projects to get on with in a nice, friendly, social environment.
Still Ill OK is coordinating the programme, so there will also be some craftivist opportunities, prompts and chances to contribute to our zine if that’s what floats your boat!
As the sessions go on, we can facilitate different arts and craft skill shares if that is something people are interested in.
The event Spoonie Artists is open to everyone but is primarily a space for chronically ill, disabled, neurodivergent creatives to get together, socialise, play with and make art. It takes place at least once a month in a wheelchair accessible venue.
This event will take place at The Yard Theatre, Hulme.
