Super excited to finally announce Pen Fight and Still Ill OK‘s new partnership, Nice Time Arts LLP!
Myself and Vicky have finally merged our mutual goals and principles into a new, accessible and affordable arts practice.
We’re still in the process of settling in to our new location and applying for funding, I just couldn’t wait to launch the #spoonieartists group and share news about the Nice Time Arts project with you! I have been so excited about it since we started chatting yonks ago, and now that our donation pages are live, I am even more (metaphorically only) jumping with joy!
Our driving motivation is the shared conviction that art should be fun, accessible & affordable for everyone. Art should not only be made accessible when it is ‘socially prescribed’ in the form of a creative wellbeing course, nor should it only be possible to own art if you are financially wealthy.
Two groups will run regularly as part of our practice, based in Hulme; the #spoonieartists UNITE! group, and the Queer Craft Club (watch this space, September…)
The first #spoonieartists meet up will take place on Saturday 3rd August 1.30-4.30pm at The Yard, which is inside Work for Change, 41 Old Birley Street in Hulme. If you check out the Facebook page for the event, we will be uploading photos and information about accessing the venue nearer the time.
Anyway click the link to our website below and keep your eyes peeled on the Nice Time Facebook page, as we slowly but surely update you with all that we have to offer.
